Don’t Despair this Christmas

Out of my own suffering—watching my adult children walk away from the Church—I speak not only as a mother, but as one who teaches and proclaims the faith. This tension cuts deeply. To preach the beauty and truth of the Church while grieving the apparent loss of belief in those you love is a particular kind of cross. It is a lived contradiction that only the Lord fully understands.

🎄

Yet this sorrow is not merely mine. It echoes the suffering of Christ Himself—the pain of being rejected, the anguish over souls who wander from the source of life. This is not about wounded pride or disappointment; it is about the real danger of losing salvation. And that truth creates an urgency in us—not panic, but holy urgency—born of love.

🎄

Still, we do not despair. The Heart of Jesus is relentless in mercy. Hope remains because grace is never exhausted, prayer is never wasted, and God pursues His children long after we believe all doors are closed. In this place of shared suffering, we are called to stand together as a prayerful community—interceding, trusting, and offering our pain for the salvation of those we love. Will you join us in this playful community? Share, like, and follow!

Pax and Merry Christmas,
